Brett ColganJanuary 25, 2022 Highly recommend. Our appointment time was 8:00am Monday morning and Bruce showed up at 7:59. Awesome. And this was the morning after a snowstorm. He was polite, quick and professional. We had two clogged drains which he had cleaned out and left our house before 8:45. I would definitely use them again and suggest them to anyone who needs it. Ann GaiserJanuary 21, 2020 AWESOME customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They came out the same day and fixed my drain. I can't say enough about this company. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I will use them in the future. Thank you for your service. 👍👍👍 Amanda LungJune 24, 2019 Friendly, professional, and prompt. Adam fixed the backup and took the extra time to scope out the main flush with the camera to give us peace of mind that the pipes were in good shape. Kelsey JonesNovember 18, 2017 we have been having issues with water and stuff backing up into our laundry room in the basement. Our company who maintains our septic (ASI) came out and told me to cancel the pumping company that I had coming later that morning. Ken (the ASI man) called Clear Drain for me and set up an appointment for us for 2 hours after he left. Ken told me how amazing this company is and how they will do such a thorough job and that they are priced very well for all that they do. Ken saved me a lot of money and heartache by sending this company out to my house. The gentleman who showed up was so kind, had a great sense of humor (even if he was faking it, I am sure he has heard all of the poop jokes there are to hear), he showed me exactly what needed to be fixed, told me what we can do to keep things moving until we can dig up the spot to our first septic tank, he discovered that we apparently have 2 septic tanks (that was a good laugh), marked in the yard where we needed to dig to have things fixed, told me what the company could do for us but never once pushed anything on me (which makes me want to call them again if we ever have issues). The kind man knew the exact type of tree that I had near the house, was able to tell me about the roots, how often we may or may not to have the pipes cleared, what to ask for in the future so we would know how often to have them cleared. I can't say enough good about these guys, although the issue sucks in the long run, he made me feel not so stressed about it, had me take a picture of the issue so I could show my husband so he would be able to see what is going on. (now I am rambling). I highly recommend this company. They seem to have amazing manners and an even better work ethic.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is septic tank maintenance?
Septic tank maintenance involves regular inspection, pumping, cleaning, and care of your septic system to ensure it functions properly. Routine maintenance helps prevent backups, odors, and costly repairs.
How often should I pump my septic tank?
Most septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years. However, the frequency can vary depending on tank size, household size, water usage, and the amount of solids entering the system.
What are signs my septic tank needs maintenance?
Look out for:
Slow drains or gurgling pipes
Sewage odors inside or outside the home
Standing water or soggy soil near the drain field
Sewage backups in toilets or sinks
Unusually lush or green grass over the tank area
What happens if I don’t maintain my septic tank?
Neglecting septic maintenance can lead to serious problems, including:
System backups and overflows
Drain field failure
Expensive emergency repairs or full system replacement
Health hazards and environmental contamination
What’s involved in a septic system inspection?
A typical inspection includes:
Checking sludge and scum levels
Inspecting the tank’s structural integrity
Testing flow from the house to the tank
Checking baffles and filters
Assessing the drain field performance
Can I use additives to avoid pumping?
Additives are not a substitute for pumping. While some may help break down solids, regular pumping is still necessary to remove sludge and prevent system overload.
How can I extend the life of my septic system?
You can protect your system by:
Avoiding flushing non-biodegradable items
Not pouring grease or harsh chemicals down the drain
Conserving water to reduce system load
Scheduling regular inspections and pumping
Protecting the drain field from heavy traffic or planting deep-rooted trees nearby
Is septic maintenance different for commercial properties?
Yes, commercial properties may require more frequent pumping and inspections due to higher water usage and waste production. We offer custom maintenance plans for businesses, restaurants, and industrial clients.
Can you locate my septic tank if I don’t know where it is?
Yes! We have equipment to help locate buried tanks quickly and accurately—even if no map or prior record is available.
Do you offer emergency septic services?
