Frequently Asked Questions

What is hydro jetting?

Hydro jetting is a powerful drain and sewer cleaning method that uses high-pressure water streams to blast away buildup, grease, roots, and debris from inside your pipes. It thoroughly cleans your plumbing system without the use of harsh chemicals.

A specialized hose with a multi-directional nozzle is inserted into the pipe. Water is then pumped at high pressure—up to 4,000 PSI—to break up and flush away clogs and residue, leaving the inside of your pipes clean and clear.

Hydro jetting effectively removes:

  • Grease and oil buildup

  • Sludge and soap scum

  • Tree roots (in some cases)

  • Scale and mineral deposits

  • Food waste and other debris

  • Stubborn or recurring clogs

Hydro jetting is safe for most modern plumbing systems. However, older or damaged pipes may be vulnerable to high-pressure water. That’s why we typically perform a camera inspection first to ensure the pipes can handle it.

Hydro jetting is ideal when:

  • You have persistent or severe clogs

  • Your drains are slow despite previous cleanings

  • You own a restaurant or commercial facility with grease-heavy waste

  • You want a preventive deep cleaning of your sewer lines

Yes, in many cases. While snaking breaks through blockages, it doesn’t fully clean the pipe walls. Hydro jetting removes all buildup, preventing future clogs and improving overall pipe flow.

Most jobs take 1–2 hours depending on the length of the line, severity of the clog, and the pipe condition.

Yes! Hydro jetting is especially effective in commercial kitchens, apartment complexes, and other high-usage properties where grease and waste buildup are common.

Not at all. It’s a closed-system process. All debris and water are flushed through your plumbing system and out through the proper drain lines or sewer connection.

For preventive maintenance, once a year is typically recommended. High-traffic commercial properties may need it more frequently.
