What Is It?
In a restaurant, lots of grease and food scraps end up going down the drain, even when employees are trained on proper waste disposal methods. The grease and oil that make it down the restaurant drain may become a big problem later on. We can safely, quickly and completely clear accumulated grease from residential and commercial drains.

Brett ColganJanuary 25, 2022 Highly recommend. Our appointment time was 8:00am Monday morning and Bruce showed up at 7:59. Awesome. And this was the morning after a snowstorm. He was polite, quick and professional. We had two clogged drains which he had cleaned out and left our house before 8:45. I would definitely use them again and suggest them to anyone who needs it. Ann GaiserJanuary 21, 2020 AWESOME customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They came out the same day and fixed my drain. I can't say enough about this company. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I will use them in the future. Thank you for your service. 👍👍👍 Amanda LungJune 24, 2019 Friendly, professional, and prompt. Adam fixed the backup and took the extra time to scope out the main flush with the camera to give us peace of mind that the pipes were in good shape. Kelsey JonesNovember 18, 2017 we have been having issues with water and stuff backing up into our laundry room in the basement. Our company who maintains our septic (ASI) came out and told me to cancel the pumping company that I had coming later that morning. Ken (the ASI man) called Clear Drain for me and set up an appointment for us for 2 hours after he left. Ken told me how amazing this company is and how they will do such a thorough job and that they are priced very well for all that they do. Ken saved me a lot of money and heartache by sending this company out to my house. The gentleman who showed up was so kind, had a great sense of humor (even if he was faking it, I am sure he has heard all of the poop jokes there are to hear), he showed me exactly what needed to be fixed, told me what we can do to keep things moving until we can dig up the spot to our first septic tank, he discovered that we apparently have 2 septic tanks (that was a good laugh), marked in the yard where we needed to dig to have things fixed, told me what the company could do for us but never once pushed anything on me (which makes me want to call them again if we ever have issues). The kind man knew the exact type of tree that I had near the house, was able to tell me about the roots, how often we may or may not to have the pipes cleared, what to ask for in the future so we would know how often to have them cleared. I can't say enough good about these guys, although the issue sucks in the long run, he made me feel not so stressed about it, had me take a picture of the issue so I could show my husband so he would be able to see what is going on. (now I am rambling). I highly recommend this company. They seem to have amazing manners and an even better work ethic.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is regular drain cleaning important for restaurants?
Restaurants deal with high volumes of grease, food particles, and soap buildup. Without regular drain cleaning, this buildup can lead to clogs, foul odors, backups, and even health code violations that can shut down your kitchen.
What drains are typically cleaned in a restaurant?
We clean and maintain:
Floor drains
Grease traps
Sink drains (prep and dishwashing areas)
Mop sink drains
Restroom drains
Main sewer lines
What causes restaurant drains to clog?
Common causes include:
Grease and fat buildup
Food debris
Soap and detergent residue
Paper products
Foreign objects (utensils, napkins, etc.)
How often should restaurant drains be cleaned?
We recommend professional drain cleaning at least once every 3 to 6 months, depending on kitchen usage. High-volume or 24/7 restaurants may need monthly maintenance.
Do you offer grease trap cleaning?
Yes, we provide grease trap cleaning as part of our restaurant maintenance services. Regular cleaning helps prevent backups, odors, and costly fines for code violations.
Is hydro jetting a good option for restaurants?
Absolutely. Hydro jetting is ideal for commercial kitchens. It removes built-up grease, sludge, and food particles from pipe walls—offering a deep clean that prevents recurring issues.
Can you perform services after hours?
Yes! We offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to avoid disrupting your kitchen operations.
What are signs my restaurant needs drain cleaning?
Watch for:
Slow-draining sinks or floors
Gurgling sounds from drains
Foul odors near drains
Frequent clogs or backups
Grease trap overflow
Are your drain cleaning methods safe for commercial plumbing?
Yes, we use industry-standard equipment and techniques like snaking, hydro jetting, and camera inspections to clean efficiently and safely without damaging your pipes.
Do you offer maintenance plans for restaurants?
Yes! Our preventative maintenance programs are customized to your kitchen’s needs, keeping your drains clear and your restaurant in compliance year-round.
